Microchipping  Your Cat
Picture

Did you know that only 3% of lost
kittes are ever reunited with their owners?  Very sad considering over 80% of dogs find their way back home.

One way to help make sure that cats come home is to permanently identify them with a microchip.  This way, if they are ever picked up and brought to a shleter or veterinary clinic, they can be scanned and the owner's information can be found.  Then they are only a phone call or email away!!

We are happy to offer this service at our clinic.   For kittens, we recommend having it done during their spay or neuter surgery, but it can also be done as an outpatient appointment.

It is also a by-law in Burlington to have all cats microchipped and not free roaming.
