There are no Behaviour Problems....Only Problem Behaviours!!

Cats are so misunderstood.  They do things and behave in certain ways that don't make any sense to us, but to them, it's just natural.  We have taken a desert dwelling, nocturnal hunting machine, and turned them into a city dwelling companion that is expected to be awake during the day, eat processed food from a bowl, and fit into our normal daily routines.  Well we think that for the most part, they do a pretty good job at blending into our way of life.  But there are some common and not so common issues that come up as a result of their differences in what "normal" is.

The most common problem behaviour we see is housesoiling, or urinating and defecating outside of the litterbox.  We offer comprehensive behavioural consultations with Dr. O'Connor to get to the bottom of the cause of whatever the  issue may be.   We can also help with:
  • scratching at furniture
  • inter-cat aggression
  • getting into household plants
  • waking you up at night
  • wanting to go outside
  • aggression with people
  • rough play or play biting
  • vocalizing
  • getting up on to counters or anywhere you don't want them
  • timidness
  • being afraid of loud noises
  • being terrified of the "Cat Carrier"

If you are experiencing any of these issues with your cat, don't worry.  We are here to help!
